“I believe that not everything has to have some kind of deep meaning (maybe it's the reason why I didn't published these pictures anywhere). Sometimes it is healthy just to play around with the form and see what happens. These pictures are the result of playing around with the key element of photography - the light. I also believe that even when we see the same thing we might have different thoughts. So it's up to the spectator to get involved and create a meaning.”
Titas is a creative industries student, who likes to experiment with light as a tool to create something new. Together with Auguste and Neringa had a collective photography exhibition at Ideas Block in 2017.
This work is a part of "Source - Process" exhibition. The exhibition is about the bursts of the artists’ spirit, and creativity. It is a show about the creative mind at work. Artists, who became part of Ideas Block during this first year, will showcase their ideas-development process through the fragments of notes, sketches, unfinished works and ideas, taken from their notebooks, papers, camera films, or elsewhere. Abstract, unfinished ideas, realisations, shapeless stimuli, coming in and out of context. A peek into the artist's inner source and intent.
