“This is an evolving experiment in which I get to know the film photography more. Games with the light, perspective, ignoring rules on purpose and damaging film bring lovely and unexpected results. These pictures bring up a message that what is considered imperfect and ugly might actually be interesting and charming. What failed might as well be very successful.”
Neringa is a creative and dreamer from Vilnius, Lithuania. She loves to experiment with film photography and take part in various art projects. Together with Augustė and Titas she had a collective photography exhibition at Ideas Block gallery in 2017.
This work is a part of "Source - Process" exhibition. The exhibition is about the bursts of the artists’ spirit, and
creativity. It is a show about the creative mind at work. Artists, who became
part of Ideas Block during this first year, will showcase their
ideas-development process through the fragments of notes, sketches, unfinished
works and ideas, taken from their notebooks, papers, camera films, or
elsewhere. Abstract, unfinished ideas, realisations, shapeless stimuli,
coming in and out of context. A peek into the artist's inner source and intent.
